Hi. I’m Sarah.
I studied poetry in college and split focus between writing and dance. Before settling into my full-time role as a coach and communicator, I toured internationally with dance companies and their collaborators.
My experience in the arts, education, and health and wellness industries has taught me that language is powerful. Clear, timely communication that entertains just as it enlightens is valuable and necessary for business success, advocacy, and lead generation. As an owner, manager, and consultant for small businesses, I know that content quality and strategy reigns.
When I’m not writing or coaching, I enjoy hot, black coffee, training at my CrossFit gym, and creating wishlists on Airbnb. A few of my favorite books are: “The Great Gatsby,” “Another Bullshit Night in Suck City,” “People From My Neighborhood” and “No One Belongs Here More Than You.”
My
Values
Clear, honest communication is essential to successful partnerships. I value your time and want the best for your business. Expect professionalism, timely deliverables, fair rates and an organized, collaborative process. Managing and leading communication for my own business drives me to strive for excellence in all endeavors.
Transparency
It’s my job to know my industry. From AI to trending social platforms, I research how tools impact communication and implement practices that benefit the writing process and product. Your content should speak to what people need, want, and are looking for now.
Innovation
I’m allergic to exclusive language. Everyone has the right to accurate, accessible information, devoid of bias. My writing is researched, respectful and inclusive. Period.
Equity
I’m a human who writes for humans. Like “reading the room,” I craft content that cares how it’s received. I believe empathy drives success and creates lasting customer relationships.
Empathy
What clients say about my writing.
“Whether she is editing someone else's writing or creating something personally, her work always seems to skillfully capture the values and culture of our company effortlessly. She is the voice of our brand and we are more successful because of it."
